Is this paint expensive? Yes. Does it work well for furniture and look good finished? Yes. Wanted something with some texture and depth for our daughter’s bookshelf as it was just made with plywood. This chalk paint was perfect. Hard to find the lavender colour locally and Amazon was priced competitively with big box diy stores. Great product worth the cost
